Bearings (including linear bearings, precision rails and other transmission elements) lubricated main function is to reduce friction bearing various parts, corrosion and wear, abrasion and avoid premature fatigue in order to get enough long working life. But also to improve the operating characteristics of the bearing, such as reducing the direct contact with the double metal self-lubricating bearings to reduce the noise and friction lubricating film between the two parts to avoid transmitting the load generated by metal to metal.
More than 40% of the bearing damage was caused by improper use of grease, lubrication properties due to oxidation and solid-lubricating bearings and mechanical motion of aging; grease selection is mainly determined by the conditions of use, speed and temperature range.
Use grease should be properly selected bearing suppliers to provide usage guidelines.
Under normal operating and environmental conditions, the grease is likely to achieve “lubricated for life.” If, in (speed, temperature, load) high load conditions, it is necessary to periodically replace the grease.
Various copper alloy bush because of different conditions, such as high temperature and high pressure grease with molybdenum disulfide, can reduce the effect of the increased use of abrasion.
